Dolores J. Breymaier

Dolores J. Breymaier, of Granville, was born in Newark on July 26, 1934 to the late George and Jessie Wagner. She passed away November 23, 2015 at Chapel Grove Inn, Heath, Ohio.

Dolores worked at Granville High School for 30 years. In her role as secretary, her kindness and spirit were appreciated by students, staff, and the community. She and her husband were members of Church in the Mall, United Methodist in Heath.

Surviving are her devoted husband of 60 years, Herb H. Breymaier; children, Herb (Tammy) Breymaier, Mike Breymaier, Beth (Frank) Spencer; grandchildren, Herb and Jessie Breymaier, Jack Breymaier, Frank, Will, and Kathryn Spencer; siblings, George Wagner, Mary Brutchey, Harriet (Mike) Yaccino, Theresa (Gene) Jones, and Bob (Gloria) Wagner; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Brown, Jeanie (Bill) Robison, Pat (Curtis) Pickens; brother-in-law, Richard Preston; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Bobbie Preston.

Dolores lived the last years of her life with Alzheimer’s and her family would like to thank the Carol Strawn Center. We greatly appreciate the care so compassionately given for the community and those affected by Alzheimer’s. This amazing program and the wonderful people who serve as staff allowed Dolores to live at home with dignity far longer than would otherwise have been possible. Even though she may have had her memories of us stripped away by her condition, we will never forget her.
