Patricia Mills Obituary

A graveside service celebrating the life of Patricia A. Mills, 60, of Heath, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Fredonia Cemetery in Newark, Ohio with Pastor Mark Falls as celebrant.

A graduate of Utica High School, Patty passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at her home. She was born in Newark to William T. Mills, and the late Rosemary (Blevins) Mills. She was a member of Newark Baptist Temple.

After studying clerical work at the Vocational School, Patty held several positions as an administrative assistant and worked other jobs, but her true passion and vocation in life was family. Known to speak her mind and be involved, Patty loved her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a most forgiving, kind, and loving person that enjoyed a good hand of euchre, crime shows, and the Buckeyes!

Surviving are her father; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Greg Shonebarger; son, Jesse Sheets; grandchildren, Jacob and Alianna Stout, Rylie Shonebarger, Caleb Lee Sheets, and Ayla Anne Sheets;  siblings and their spouses, Thomas A. Mills, Mary Mills (David Littlejohn), Bobbie (Paul) Fowler, Nancy (Thomas) Long, Susan (Jim) West, and Paula Mills.

In addition to her mother, Patty was preceded in death by her brothers, John and William Mills, Jr..
