Frederick Brumage, II Obituary

Frederick E. Brumage, II, 59, of Mansfield passed away October 16, 2022 at his home. Fred is now in the presence of his Lord Jesus Christ. He was born in Newark, Ohio to Revella Smith Brumage and the late Frederick E. Brumage.

An employee of Home Depot in Mansfield, Fred worked on the freight team and recently Pros-Desk and Lawn and Garden. After attending Licking Valley High School where he played football and baseball, Fred entered the U.S. Navy. He continued to donate and volunteer to any cause that aided veterans throughout his life time.

Fred was an avid Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Bengals fan. He loved his nephews and great-nieces and nephew.

In addition to his mother, Fred is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Andy Nagy of Dayton, and Belinda and Steve Etzel of Mansfield; three stepsons, Jeff Murrey, Steven Murrey and Shawn Murrey of Alexandria, IN; his best friend of 40 years, Leonard Chambers of Maryland; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. And his cat, Precious.

Fred lost the love of his life, Kay, almost 25 years ago.

A celebration of life will be held November 5, 2022 at Belinda’s home, 77 Parkwood Blvd., from 2 to 5 PM.
