We knew that Sue has not been well for some time, but we always are so sad when a wonderful and talented person like Sue passes away. We have such fond memories of our children being in her youth choir. We can still remember Kurt singing so loud above the other kids. She has given the love of music to countless children.
Larry, we hope that you can be strong during this time. Know she was the love of your life. Our prayers are with you.

Larry, I am so sorry. Please know I count myself among the many Presbyterian Youth Choir alums out there who owe our love of singing to Sue. Her gusto, spirit, enthusiasm, and encouragement have stayed with me my whole life. It was a privilege to know her, and I'm so glad you had so many wonderful years together. She was one in a million. All the best to you.

Sue was an amazing music teacher who touched the lives of numerous students when we both taught at Central Intermediate School. She was always smiling and happy. She truly loved what she did.

Larry. When I close my eyes I remember Sue's mischievous smile and "Your not foolin' me" look. I remember our time at Cumberland Lake, our parties in the good ol' days, and her teaching Sarah to play the piano. Things changed so much over the years but not the simplicity and beauty of Dorothy Sue. We pass to you our sorrow, our sympathy and our love.
How shall we sing our love's song now
In this strange land where all are born to die?
Each tree and leaf and star show how
The universe is part of this one cry,
Every life is noted and is cherished,
and nothing loved is ever lost or perished.”

Larry, There is not enough room on this website to put how I feel.. but I will start with BEYOND BLESSED to have known Sue for over 30 years. I feel honored to have been her friend.. and as Pennsylvania natives that made you and she black and gold forever. She knows we will all look out and care for each other as the years pass and our time comes to see her greet us with that beautiful smile and infectious laugh!!!!
