I only met Cass once but she was one of the warmest and most welcoming people I've ever met. She treated you like she had known you for years. My heart goes out to my brother-in-law Jay and my sister Sue and the rest of Cass's family. Words can't take away your grief but just know that she's with Walt once again.

Cass was a special person. She was an outstanding teacher. But the most memorable thing about Cass is that she spent her time helping others. She was always doing something for someone else. She was kind and loving. And, she was a delightful person. Cass will be missed!

Cass was a class individual and a marvelous teacher. She personified the child centered teacher who wanted only the best for her children she taught, She loved Granville Schools and the Granville community and she and Walt knew just about everybody. When my children would visit the elementary waiting for me to finish they would often visit with Mrs .Gowans. May God rest her soul and may her soul and the souls of all the departed rest in peace.

Cass has been our neighbor for 40 years. We have lots of good memories. She had the most hardy contagious laughter and you always laugh with her. We will miss her.
