I remember all the good times working with Doug on research projects at Owens-Corning. He was always in a happy good mood. He will be missed!

MK and family,

So sad to hear of Doug's passing. He was truly a wonderful person. One of the best. He did so much for so many others and he adored his family. He will be missed by many. Sending you love and warmth from Southern California.

Meeting Doug way back in the early 1990’s was a game-changer for me and the start of a 25-year friendship that I cherished every day. To put it simply, Doug was more than a friend; he was someone who left a lasting mark on everyone he touched. I remember so many good times, in Granville, in Europe, throughout the United States, wherever we were fortunate to be together. We worked on many interesting projects and enjoyed so many good times that will not be forgotten.

Doug had many talents but I think he will be remembered most for just being Doug, someone with a persona that is hard to describe but unforgettable for those of us who were privileged to enjoy it; to say he is and will be missed is an understatement.

Doug was a man of faith; his passing is not the end but the beginning. Colossians 2: 6-7 is how I will remember Doug.

God bless!

I will miss Doug. He believed in me when I was just starting out in the world as an entrepreneur and, although in later years our paths didn't cross quite so often, he remained a source of advice, support and always a friend. I will continue to think of him as I always have--in the present, always close by because of all he was and did for others and always with a smile. Always. Such a loss and gone much too soon.

Doug,
You were you my closest and best friend. I will sorely miss you as will the CDS Board and the Choir. And you were an answer to MK's prayer 22 years ago - that was a lovely story by the Spring Valley pool. She will really miss you.
I will miss you as will many others.
