I was so sad to learn that Cal had passed. He was such a dear man and was very special to our family. He was a dear friend to my mother when they were both at Kendal. My mother passed away on Thanksgiving Day in the morning, 2013. Cal was the first one at Kendal to learn of her death when he called that morning to wish her a Happy Thanksgiving.
My deepest condolences,
Maggie Barno

Was saddened to learn of Cal's death. We have fond memories of working with Cal and Clara for 25 years at the Presbyterian church on committees and session, etc. They were a great pair and did good works for the church and community. You are in our prayers. Sincerely, Klaus and Louise

The Prines were kind, supportive, and thoughtful influences in our community. We Hills were fortunate to have taught their children and to have benefited from their counsel. May peace be with the family as you gather to celebrate Calvin’s life.

Very sad to hear of Uncle Calvin's death. He was a fun-loving uncle. He liked to delight me and my siblings with magic tricks and play. Like his dad, Uncle Cal believed in honesty, hard work, and fair play. He had a quick wit and was fabulous storyteller. Much love to all.

Reading Mr Prine’s obituary gave me a flood of very fond memories both living in Granville and being a part of the great “old Denison” community. Thinking of you all during this time. Thanking Cal and Clara for the good old days.
