What beautiful video tribute to Mr. Plute! He embodied kindness and gentleness whenever we went to the farm, at Farmers' Market, at the grocery store, singing at the Candlelight Tour, etc. I will personally always treasure the brief friendship he and my father from Texas developed. To each of you, we would like to express our sadness.

A kind and gentle man. I enjoyed our many conversations about many topics but particularly teaching. Unfortunately I will be out of town and unable to express to his family how much I thought of him. I looked forward to our Saturday morning chats. My sympathy to the family. Lew Mollica

What a really great guy Gil was.......he and June were my neighbors for many years and my youngest son worked a summer for them pulling weeds in the truck farm. I'm sure that many friends, neighbors and family have some great memories as do I. May God comfort the family at this time of loss.

Many condolences to the Plute family on the passing of Gilbert. He was a neighbor and a fine man. I know how much he loved farming and singing and he was great at both endeavors. It was a privilege to have known him.
