Love to all of the wonderful Roberts women from my heart to your hearts. Ned was wonderful about stopping by to see Ken. when he was too ill to go out, which I very much appreciated. Your brother's love of adventure was so infectious...there will never be another man quite like him.....remembered and loved by SO many people, he was GREAT!!!!!

We were so lucky to finally meet Ned in January when he was moving Judy to Ohio. He was such a nice man and we could tell he was so happy that after all these years he and Judy got back together. It is so sad they did not have more time tighter. RIP ned

To my friend Judy and all the Roberts family,
As classmates forever I've known you both all that time. There are no words. Judy I was so thrilled that you and Ned found each other and our 50th Class Reunion was a catalyst for you to be together. I so wanted to be at your wedding in Granville just last
year and to visit you both when we came back for July 4th. I am glad for the happiness you found together. I am so so sad for you Judy. My heart goes out to you. Ned was a wonderful person and finding you gave him such a joy. My love for you both.

In the eyes of God all human beings are equal and the same, however, to those of us Ethiopians, who new Ned think differentlyotherwise. He is one of a kind, polite, principled, honest, respectful and caring. I have known Ned since 1982, a year after I came to the States. Ever since then I observed him greeting me in Ethiopian way.The love for Ethiopia is boldly written on his expressions. When he meets with us Ethiopians he seems taken aback in time of his peace core years in Gondar. He will be missed by all Ethiopians who new him.
May God bless his soul.

As first cousins and about the same age, I grew up knowing Ned and the Roberts family. I don't think you can find better people. Ned's graciousness and kindness were overshadowed only by his zest to enjoy life. My memories of great times at the Roberts house and Spring Valley Pool will stay with me forever, and I wish I had better words to describe my sorrow at his passing. Ned was a good man.

My fondest memories of Ned are paddling Ohio's rivers and finding such peace and comfort as we mostly floated enjoying all of natures gifts. I would follow behind Ned, as he could read a river to perfection, Ned looked like he and the river traveled together. I will cherish those memories and have no doubt he will paddle on forever.
Ned loved to share his amazing woodworking skills and am ever thankful that he gave me one of his beautiful wooden boxes. So very sorry to hear of his death, may you all hold tightly to the many memories and the amazing life he led. Peace and love to all

We met Ned just a few months ago on a trip from Florida to our home in Michigan. We arrived, practically unannounced, and were treated to a hike around the Indian mounds, a tour of Granville including the Spring Valley park, and lunch at a downtown restaurant. Ned was such a kind and gracious host! We knew immediately why Judy left Michigan to return to Granville and marry Ned. They were so happy and we were so happy for them.

Judy, there are no words to describe how sorry we are for your devastating loss. We love you, are thinking of you, and praying for you and for Ned's family.

Ned was a best friend almost from the time we met in Ethiopia in the Peace Corps nearly 50 years ago. He and his family were gracious hosts to my wife Marcia and me and our kids when we lived in Columbus in the 1980s. We almost felt like part of the family. I looked forward to getting together once or twice a year for Ethiopian food and to talk about our great times together. I will miss Ned but value the memories.
